The Secretary-Treasurer is retired from the Naval Submarine Service as a Master Chief Petty Officer (E-9) and from Federal Civil Service as a GM-14 Program Manager. He is a graduate of the University of New Haven with BS Degree in Operations Management. He has served as District Governor for the Lions Clubs of Southeastern Virginia and served as President of the Lions Charity Foundation of Southeastern Virginia.
He was the founding President of the Virginia Beach Project Lifesaver Foundation and had the lead in the development of the By-Laws, Articles of Incorporation and the preparation and submission of the IRS 1023 form. He was the founding Secretary of the FBI Norfolk Citizens Academy Alumni Association and took the lead in the development of the By-Laws and Articles of Incorporation. He serves on the Board of Directors of the Virginia Beach Crime Solvers, Inc. (Tip Line) and is a past Chairman. He served as Chairman of the Virginia Beach City Crime Task Force for two years and in other leadership roles as a volunteer with the Virginia Beach Police Department for the past nineteen years.
