Peter G. Decker, III is a well-known attorney specializing in criminal defense, personal injury and traffic law. He is a member of the Virginia Beach, Norfolk and Virginia State Bar Associations and has practiced law in the Hampton Roads area for the past 17 years. Decker was recently appointed by Gov. McDonnell to a second term on the Virginia State Board of Corrections and was elected its Chairman. He is a member of the Norfolk Police and Fire Trial Board, Norfolk Sheriff’s Foundation Board, Citizens Advisory Council of the Norfolk Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court Board, Norfolk Drug Court Foundation Board, Norfolk/Portsmouth Bar Association Foundation Board, Norfolk Public Library Foundation Board and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital Southeast Virginia Board. He is a member of the Knights of Columbus Council 3548, the Order of Ahepa, the American Hellenic Educational Progressive Association and the Law and Disorderly Club which serves children’s charities and he is an associate member F. O. P. Lodge #28.
